November 5h - 2023 - November 12th is an alternate day - we will inform you if your exam is scheduled for November 12.

Are there any exam offerings on another day than the exam days?
All Goethe-Institut locations can usually accommodate urgent cases on an individual basis for an extra fee. You receive your results and certificate (if you pass) the very same day. Please get in touch with [email protected]
How do I know which exam level is right for me and if I am ready?
Before you choose your exam level and book the actual exam, please take an online placement test to make sure you are ready for your exam level. The test is administered by the Goethe Institut Washington and costs 25 USD (cannot be charged against your booking this time). Please find the registration link here: Online Placement Test - USD 25
How to prepare for the actual exam?
We highly recommend you take some time and take the Test Exam at home. Make sure you finish it within the available time. Also take a look at the video recording of the oral exam.

Youth: A1 $120, A2 $200, B1 $245, B2 $270
Adult: A1 $190, A2 $210, B1 $250, B2 $270
Current DGC Students and Members:
Youth: A1 $100, A2 $180, B1 $200, B2 $230
Adult: A1 $170, A2 $185, B1 $205, B2 $230
C1 exams will be offered in 2024 again!
How much is the registration fee?
The registration fee is $35 and not refundable.
Is there a Refund Policy?
We will refund the exam fee, if we receive a written notice that you are cancelling your registration, no later than 10 days before the examination day.
Such written cancellation notice must be sent by email no later than 10 days before the examination day to [email protected]
After that your fee will be non-refundable.
