This year the German ISD is having their first ever German Christmas Market. It will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December the 6th! Come and enjoy traditional German Christmas spirit. A wide variety of handmade crafts, delicious food, cookies and winter games for the children in the outside play area will be offered. Since the 6th of December is also St. Nikolaus day in Germany, the German ISD is very happy to welcome him at the market!

Join us for one of our most beloved events, our Bavarian-style Fall Picnic. Bring your family and friends for a fun afternoon by the creek. It is the perfect event to come together to catch up with friends after the summer and make new ones. Our fall picnic is a family friendly event and younger children will be able to enjoy the playground and gazebo while the adults relax and enjoy music, food, and companionship of people who share their interest in the German language and culture.
The GACC South is happy to continue the tradition of their Annual German White Asparagus Dinner in the greater Dallas region, this year at the Four Seasons Resort & Club Dallas at Las Colinas in Irving, TX.
Please join us for an evening among friends and learn more about the findings of a study group, which has looked into some ideas for a German American Community Center in Dallas.
Enjoy a 3-course menu for $25 (including water, iced tea and gratuity). Children ages 12 and under pay $10. A cash bar will be available too.
