Dr. Michael Kleinherne, senior lecturer at Katholische Universität Eichstätt and author of several books and short stories, will be present at a bilingual reading of short stories led by Dr. Ivan Eidt of the University of Dallas.
Winterfest, the annual North Texas German contest, will take place on Saturday, February 7th from 8:00am to 4:00pm at R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton.

Enjoy some delicious hors d'oeuvres and a glass of wine while listening to Michael Just explaining his work.
St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church (United Church of Christ) began her journey from roots of Swiss Reform and German Evangelical with founding members from German and Swiss immigrants as well as Americans of that heritage. Also, the history of St. Paul’s Church is a Journey of Faith that tracks with the social and cultural development of the City of Dallas. The Church is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year and invites members of the community to a special celebration on Sunday, January 11, 2015.

Attend the 7th Annual Nikolausfest on December 6th at Tarrant County College (Northeast Campus) in Hurst. There will be typical German holiday cakes and cookies, drinks, games, crafts, singing and much more.

Mord im Ausland - Murder Abroad. A German production with English subtitles. The German Drama class will show Murder Abroad at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 4 in the Architecture Building Room 204. This murder comedy is loosely based off students’ recent study abroad trip to Germany, said Dylan Love, music composition and German senior. To find out more about the production, click HERE.
